If you want to select multiple items, you can hold down the Ctrl key on Windows and click another item. So if I click Sales Associate one, it changes again Sales Associate two and so on. And you can see immediately that all of the elements that are not related to sales associate are muted, gray or not as saturated colors and only the sales associate data is highlighted and in full color. I'll go up to the orders by job title table and I'll click Sales Associate. There's my action, I'll click Okay again and it's running. If you wanted one of them to not change you can uncheck this box and for target highlighting rather than selected fields or date and times I'll just leave it to all. When you look at your target sheets I want to affect everything in this case. And for Menu, that means you have to right click something and work from a shortcut menu and I do not like that option. Hover will change whenever you move your mouse pointer over an element and on a dashboard especially when it's crowded as this that can make for some very quick changes.
I prefer Select, actually I very strongly prefer Select. Basically anything that is present with a check mark can be used and then over on the right, I have run action on. I want to all of them to be available although I could limit it. Doing so displays the Add Highlight Action and I'll name the actions instead of highlight one, I'll call it highlight job. Then in the Actions dialogue box, I'll click the Add Action button and I'll click Highlight. I'm on a dashboard, so I'll go to the dashboard menu and then about two thirds of the way down, I'll click Actions. To do that, I need to define a highlight role.

This dashboard is titled Job Title Focus and you can see why that is, I have sales by job title, orders by job title and then orders by category and job title.
